Principals and Teachers

The Fund's business is human capital, the principals and teachers making a difference in our schools every day. Research shows that the educators closest to students have the greatest effect on their learning. Investing in those people is the greatest lever we can pull to accelerate student achievement.

People who come to education through The Fund's programs have a high level of energy, discipline and commitment to excellence. They have all chosen to put themselves through some of the nation's most rigorous selection processes and training programs. They hold their students up to high standards, and hold themselves to even greater ones. They are our city's and our nation's top education professionals.
More Information
The way to see change is to actually go to a school and see a principal who has come out of one of our principal training programs and to see National Board Certified teachers who are working with children and making a difference in their lives, every day.
