As The Fund asked the simple question: Can talented leadership in the classroom and the school really move the needle on student achievement, we wanted to place our work in Chicago within a national context. The Fund's Founding President & CEO Janet Knupp moderated a discussion among prominent leaders in human capital from Chicago, D.C., Denver, San Diego and Long Beach Unified school districts, offering an insider's account of the bold plans being proposed and the barriers and successes in implementing them.
